Technological competence in lightweight construction
As a recognised lightweight construction specialist for innovative fibre composite technologies for the aerospace, mechanical engineering, automotive, rail and ship-building industries, INVENT develops and produces highly precise structural components, from the initial idea right through to series production. The own designers and engineers work together closely with the different manufacturing specialists. Thus, the customer is offered complete package from a single source with regard to design, production planning, manufacturing processes, mechanical processing, fitting and assembly, painting and quality control.
Production of high-precision structural components with the DEMMELER 3D clamping system
As part of this overall package, INVENT relies on the clamping system from DEMMELER. In many projects, composite components are bonded highly precise to metal components. For this purpose, they are aligned with each other and measured, which calls for the flexibility and adaptability of the DEMMELER clamping system.
With the provided CAD database of all modules, these structures can be planned in detail, thus saving time and money. Even complex customer designs are precisely linked to the DEMMELER system using individually designed adapters.
With the 3D measurement technology, it is also possible to align variable constructions with each other in a targeted manner, whereby several configurations can be produced. DEMMELER components, of the one part, are used for this purpose.
On the other hand, due to the high dimensional accuracy of the drilling pattern, specially manufactured positioning systems can also be used flexibly.
