On May 3rd, 2023, DEMMELER invited the metalworker master class from the Robert Mayer School in Stuttgart to a company tour in Heimertingen.

There were many reasons to celebrate at DEMMELER: the 80th birthday of our company founder, Ludwig Demmeler, the 75th birthday of his wife Elisabeth Demmeler, the 50th birthday of our managing partner, Johannes Demmeler, and the 60th anniversary of the company.

As expected, the 26th International Technology Fair for Sheet Metal Working was an industry highlight. After a four-year break, the EuroBLECH 2022 was back and all about innovative production in the age of progressive digitization.

With the apprenticeship start in 2022, eight trainees will begin their careers at DEMMELER Maschinenbau GmbH & Co. KG in Heimertingen. We warmly welcome our future specialists to our team.

Another two apprentices have successfully completed their vocational training as industrial clerks at DEMMELER. Once again, our apprentices were able to perform extremely well and above the average.

With the further developments COBOT WeldSpace 4.0® TABLE 24/12, HOUSE 40/20 and RAIL 40/X from DEMMELER, even small and medium-sized companies can quickly get started with automated and professional welding production thanks to the quick commissioning. Whether individual parts, series or small batch sizes with a large variety of parts - you save time during welding and reworking. The fully equipped welding cells with welding robots and welding technology offer a wide range of optional configuration options for unique modularity and flexibility.

As the inventor of the modular 3D welding table and clamping systems, we shape our development and innovation around the modular clamping and manipulation of components. Numerous products are developed and redesigned each year.

Company founder Ludwig Demmeler and managing director Johannes Demmeler were very happy about the visit and briefly presented the innovative products and the excellent development of the DEMMELER group of companies in recent years to the district administrator of the Unterallgäu Alex Eder.

With the turning unit Robotix from DEMMELER, heavy and long workpieces can be optimally positioned for welding and assembly work via two electric lifting columns for lifting and lowering or turning in both directions.

Seven apprentices have successfully completed their apprenticeship at DEMMELER – with good and very good marks. Once again, our apprentices were able to perform extremely well and considerably above the average. We are looking forward to the new specialists.

DEMMELER has been supporting social and charitable projects with a donation for many years. We are particularly concerned with people who have been hit hard by fate, whether through illness or disability or an inhumane social environment. DEMMELER is supporting the “Kartei der Not” organization and local institutions with a donation totaling EUR 20,000.

The 15th Blechexpo - international trade fair for sheet metal working - together with the 8th Schweisstec - international trade fair for joining technology - was, as expected, an industry highlight. During the entire trade fair, DEMMELER recorded a rush of visitors mostly from Germany and Europe and a great deal of interest in the new Cobot WeldSpace 4.0.

When Ludwig Demmeler celebrates his 80th birthday on Tuesday, November 9th, he can look back with pride and joy. As a man of action, who doesn't talk around for long, but takes clear positions. Other attributes with which the entrepreneur from Heimertingen is often considered include: "Always open-minded and interested, always courageously involved, motor and initiator in many areas."

As a modern training company, DEMMELER takes part in the pilot project "Digital Class" of the state vocational school Johann-Bierwirth in Memmingen. Equipped with the latest convertible notebooks, our industrial mechanic apprentices started their first “digital” year of training.

An extremely positive outcome was achieved by the 2019 edition of LAMIERA, the international exhibition of sheet metal forming, cutting and processing machines, automation and technologies related to the sector, which took place at fieramilano Rho from 15 to 18 May.

The IHK (Chamber of Commerce and Industry) regional assembly Memmingen Unterallgäu visited DEMMELER in Heimertingen. More than 30 members, including Johannes Demmeler, Managing Director, accepted the invitation of the IHK (Chamber of Commerce and Industry). Leading up to the meeting, the entrepreneurs learned more about DEMMELER's comprehensive product range during a guided tour. They also had a close look at the new production and logistics center, which got into operation this spring.

The international trade fair for sheet metal processing EuroBLECH in Hanover was a great success: Already in the first days of the EuroBLECH DEMMELER registered a high infeed of international trade visitors and promising contacts mostly from Germany and Europe.

With a total of 280,000 square meters and over 2,500 exhibitors, numerous trade visitors poured this year to the CIIF, China International Industry Fair, for their 20th anniversary. Rightly, as it turned out at the opening ceremony. DEMMELER, represented by our long-standing distribution partner Shanghai Welding and Cutting in China, presented our original 3D welding table and clamping systems, manipulators and other DEMMELER product innovations.

The IHK (Chamber of Commerce and Industry) election 2018 is over, the votes are counted. DEMMELER says farewell, two highly esteemed employees are leaving the company for their well-deserved retirement: Mr. Helmut Leiter, certified steelworker and welder, and Mr. Dieter Martin, CNC machine operator, have been supporting and shaping the company for more than 41 and 18 years thanks to their high technical expertise and many years of experience.

Within the “Allgäuer Berufsoffensive” DEMMELER gave students from the region in-sights into the companies different training occupations. For the 9th graders of the Staatl. Wirtschaftsschule in Memmingen the excursion began with a company presen-tation of the Top innovator 2017 and the numerous training opportunities at DEMMELER.

DB Fahrzeuginstandhaltung GmbH offers optimal solutions for the maintenance and repair of rail vehicle fleets. Flexibility is required when assembling wheelset drives for commuter trains. Heavy wheel sets and gearboxes up to 2.0 tons must be positioned exactly and safely for fast jig change. Exceptional welding knowledge and smart programming is required for the second DVS robot welding contest during the international trade fair “SCHWEISSEN & SCHNEIDEN” in Düsseldorf. From 25 to 28 May 2017 the participants of the contest will demonstrate their automated welding skills in hall 13.

Over many months the students of the Formula Student Team Weingarten designed, constructed and built their new racing car “Stinger 17”. Now the new vehicle for the season 2017 was officially presented. The upcoming races will prove whether it can succeed against the international competition and possibly eclipse the last year´s model “Stinger 16”, the most successful racing car of the Formula Student Team Weingarten.

For the technical welding process the factor quality and its documentation is becoming more and more important. The renewed ISO-Certification 3834 verifies the high quality standard of DEMMELER welding products: These are developed and manufactured exclusively “Made in Germany” in Heimertingen.

DEMMELER ranks among the “outstanding medium-sized companies“ of the economic region Bavaria, which are nominated for the “Grand Prix of Small and Medium Business” 2017. According to the motto “Healthy Medium-sized Businesses – Strong Economy – More Jobs” this year´s award of the Oskar-Patzelt-Stiftung honors companies with outstandingly economic performances. Thereby companies can only be nominated for the award by third parties. Just every 1000th enterprise in Germany made it into the nomination list.

DEMMELER has further developed the modular clamping system D22. In addition to new products you will also find interface adapter that we created for the compability of the clamping equipment from the systems D28 and D16. In this way you kann use for example clamps and bolts of the D16 system as well as the comprehensive prisma series of the D28 system for a D22 welding table - modular even over system boundries!

The “Industriepreis“ awards highly progressive industrial products with great economic, social, technical and ecological value. The 3D-Welding Table System – which is invented by DEMMELER – as well as the Manipulator Ergonomix M were assigned with the “Industriepreis 2017” in the category “Production technology & Mechanical engineereing”.

DEMMELER Automatisierung und Roboter GmbH could prevail on the market worldwide and received a major order for rotatory and sliding tables as well as patented 3-axes-tilting tables with full hydrostatic bearing. These machines from the Allgäuer heritage company, which are developed and manufactured in Heimertingen, will be used for highly streamlined production of key components for wind power stations.

The international Sheet Metal Working Technology Exhibition in Hanover was a big success: Not just the number of visitors increased in comparison to the previous year. Also the new generation of clamping device Rotatorix®, which can rotate work pieces of up to 4,000 kg by 360° endless around their own axis, was able to convince the visitors and the jury of the EuroBLECH Award.

To guarantee ideal conditions for the competition DEMMELER provides all participants of the Austrian national championship with a Original 3D clamping system. Thanks to the enormous variety of applications and combination options it offers, this system has become an international industrial standard and is used by a wide range of industries.

On a hot summers day, we paid a visit to the company BEST Inn in Roding, Germany. As we arrived at the modern company premises and production building in temperatures of 35 degrees, we were greeted by two cheerful young men, Stefan Breu and Thomas Eckl, the founders and managing directors of BEST Inn.

The vocational training day by Demmeler in Heimertingen was again a huge success for the company, which is known for highly specialized flagship solutions in mechanical engineering and construction. This year, over 150 visitors, mostly school leavers with their parents, took the chance to inform themselves about the different training opportunities within the individual professional fields during conversations with the Demmeler training team and their trainees.

The company Metallverarbeitung Pascal Selg centrally located in Baienfurt near Ravensburg, Germany is a certified specialist welding shop according EN 1090-2. In a separate area, the company processes all common materials from stainless steel to aluminium alloys to steel in all product forms. The focus is on the high-quality processing and welding of components for customers in plant construction, pharmaceuticals, the food industry and the bulk goods industry as well as prototype construction, series production and custom part fabrication.
