As announced after last year's event, DEMMELER returned to the apprenticeship recruiting party hosted by Alois Müller GmbH in Ungerhausen in 2026. From 5 to 9 p.m., students and their parents found out about apprenticeship programmes, everyday working life and career prospects at a family-owned mechanical engineering company founded in 1961.

Hands-on technology
An original DEMMELER® 3D welding table was on display. DEMMELER invented the 3D clamping system in 1990, and it is now an international industry standard. Alongside it, the COBOT WeldSpace 4.0® TABLE showed how automated welding works today. The steel hearts on display at the stand had been welded by the cobot in advance. Visitors could see for themselves what DEMMELER apprentices go on to work on: products used by customers around the world.

A Bavarian stand and a prize draw with a story
As in the previous year, the stand had a Bavarian theme. The team wore dirndls and lederhosen, and visitors enjoyed pretzels, roasted almonds, Magenbrot and DEMMELER gingerbread hearts. The prize draw offered 10 tickets for the Olympia-Looping, the fairground ride that DEMMELER played a key role in building.
